At about 6 months my ds had a throat thing that developed into thrush in his mouth and he wet off his food,well the boob lol,

I wouldnt wait to see what happens, that's what I did and it got worse and more uncomfortable for him, it only took three days and he was back to normal too..... If it is teething it will continue anyway, so just in case... I mean if the dr said it looked red,that probably the start of thrush. It's so common with breastfeeding I didn't know
