My bub is nearly 8 months old and is teething at the moment. As I was drying him after a bath I noticed tiny red sores or blood spots around his little bum. Can anyone tell me what this is or is it just another symtom of teething?

Hmm, hard to say without seeing them. Quite possibly due to teething. Any other skin changes? Diet changes? Has he been sick at all?

He has no other skin changes. He has had a bit of a cold but thats it. I may take him to the Dr's tomorrow if it doesnt go away.

How did you go today? Did you take DS to the dr? Hope your little one has perked up a bit today.

Well he has come down with Gastro now, lots of Diarrea and bit of vomiting, he must of got the little rash from the poos ( which I thought was all part of teething ) but the doc seems to think he has gastro. Poor little man....

Gastro for babies is awful. You wonder how their little bodies can take it.
Keep plenty of fluids up and hopefully he'll be right.
