I see you are in BrisVegas too. I see on the TV ads they recommend setting the aircon to 24degrees. We found that very comfortable last summer when DS was a newborn. We tried to get the room down to 18degrees and it was like a freezer and imagine how much energy it would take to get the room that cold and keep it that way.
Babies can become overheated quite easily, compared to adults. 18degrees to a baby is not really cold compared to us. To us, it's cold!
It's recommended babies rooms are 18 degrees. But I would say anywhere between 20-22 sounds nice.
