    grinding teeth

Our daughter has been sleeping in bed with us the past week or so as she has been reallysick with the flu and crying all night in her bed, but I have noticed while she sleeps that she grinds her teeth! I am worried she is going to hurt her teeth, I don't know how long she has been doing it for. She never does it when she is awake so I don't understand it, but my gosh that is one of the worst sounds to hear! Any way to stop her, or will it pass maybe?

    Hi renee
my older girls both do this, and it seems to be worse when they are sick. I agree, it is a horrible noise. The girls have both had dentist appointments recently, and the dentist didn't mention any problems. (although i should have thought to ask - will be heading back to the dentist soon so i'll ask then )
