I had DD1 in her baby bath until she was over 2 - but that's just because it was easy and she was small enough to fit. I use the moniter still as we close off the hallway and need it to hear the kids over the tv if they wake up I wouldn't worry - just do what works best for you.

DD used to be a "trying to fly" type of kid. She grew out of it eventually.

I just stopped using the baby moniter and DD is 2yrs 8months and her room has always been opposite ours.

Your not stuck in time at all

Wow thanks lovelies! I really thought I should be moving on! lol. DS's bedroom is at the back of the unit and we're at the front, and although it is a small unit sometimes i don't hear him w/o the monitor until he's in full flight of tears! As for the bath he still fits in it, it's one of those that has like this bump between the legs so that keeps him from slipping under the water when he's lying down so he can kick his wee legs . I swear, there is more water coming out of that bath than there is in the bath!

    Thanks again ladies
