    Smile An Angel in Disguise

Sometimes Angels come to you in disguise. Tonight mine appeared and I am creating this thread to say a massive thankyou to her! (Appoligies in advance if this is not in the right spot!)

My DD is 3months old and I still use a nipple shield to breastfeed her (I've never been able to ween her off it and I'm too scared to at the same time because of the trauma she caused me in the first place!). Tonight I had left the shield on the coffee table in it's container without the lid on it. When I was changing my DD nappy in the other room, my darling dog jumped onto the table and took my shield - ripping it to pieces!
DH had gone out for the night with the car and all the chemists were closed by the time I made the discovery - so I had no way of getting a new shield. I tried to express but I could not get anymore than 40ml out and my DD wanted more than that!

That's when my angel - Nessa msn'd me and offered to help. She drove to 2 different locations to find me some formula for my DD - at 11.00 at night! Without her help my DD would not have a full milk belly now and be fast asleep in her bed.

Thankyou from the bottom of my heart Nessa for your help tonight - the overtired tears are coming out as I write this - but I really wanted to let you know how much it meant to me and how much of a good person you are. I'm blessed to have you in my life!

Good on you Nessa, thats a fantastic thing to do.

And nat, good luck with the breast feeding, I think as she gets older she should start to attaxh alot better and easier.
