We had a shocking night with ds2 last night as well... i think i was up every 1/2 hour either feeding him or putting the dummy back in.. ahhhhhh i need sleep!
I wish i could tell you it all stops at a certain age and your DD will sleep all night through but unfortunately that hasn't been the case for usDS1 is nearly 3 and he's only just started sleeping through the night without waking, we had a shocker of a time with him too so i'm not holding out much hope that ds2 will improve any time soon
BUT i can tell you that you're doing a wonderful job and you are NOT a failure!! I know its hard but things will eventually get better. I find ds goes through phases where he'll be an awsome sleeper for a week or two (he was sleeping 11 hours straight at one point!!) and then he'll be shocking for a few months
Teething and growth spurts definitely make him worse. Do you think your DD could be teething?
Hang in there, try and have a snooz when she has her day naps if you can. Sorry i can't be more help but just wanted to let you know you're not alone. When i'm up resettling DS2 at 1am, 2am, 3am.. i like to think of all the other mummies that are probably up at the same time cursing under their breath (or out loud lol) just like me![]()
