    Question Baby bath?

This may sound like a strange question but do all baby bath tubs come in one standard size? DS now HATES his bath as he is attempting to swim in it and smashes his head on the end as he is the exact length of the bath. We live in a small country town and our baby shop only sells one brand of the baths. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen a larger size before i start hunting around. Our house doesn't have a bath, only a shower, and we aren't likely to get a bath put in any time soon (DH is a builder..) DS likes having a shower with his dad, but this isn't possible to do every night and i like him having a bath as he previously loved it, splashing around and kicking his legs like a little Grant Hackett!

I bought one once from a cheap shop and its huge. It stays at my mums house as she only has a shower and my 8 yr old sometimes baths in it.

I don't know where you could get one from where you live though.

I haven't a clue about sizes of baby baths (although wish I'd looked into it with my long girl!) but have you tried bathing DS in the laundry sink? My MIL did this with DH and also bathes DD in the laundry sink when we visit her. The beauty of it is that it is a decent height in comparison to a normal bath...
Another option is to purchase a big container from the hardware store or something like a clam from a toy shop... I've seen both done...

You could always bath him in the laudry tub or buy one of those huge storage boxes (if your town has them) and use that up until he's able to just have showers. That way later on you can convert it into a toy box or something?
