All you need for baths is warm water, no need for soaps and so on.

Yep, we just used water originally. My eldest has eczema now so we use QV when it flairs up, otherwise just water still.

Nappies we used cloth as it was cheaper for me in the long run as a single parent, after the initial outlay I didn't have to worry where I would find the money for nappies from week to week. I only brought the nappies on sale and originally just used flats with covers to get us by.

They don't need soap, thankfully they don't really get dirty!
Nappies are all much of a muchness I think, unless you go for the low-chemical versions or cloth.
