    Baby Capsules

What is a good baby capsule to get? I'm looking for something that is easy to get in and out of the car and not too heavy. Something that looks like it's comfy for bub.

Safe N Sound ones are good

Perhaps look at hiring one if you dont want to buy one?

I am going to hire one from my local hospital. They also have a fitting service. As they are only in them for a short amount of time I couldn't justify the expense of buying one.

We hired SNS baby capsule for all our girls.
My girls didnt last past 6months in the capsule. When they hit about 4-5 months it certainly got heavier to lift the capsule out of the car. But we simply just didnt take it out of the car by this stage.

I'm really wanting to buy one. I have a thing about hiring things like that. I looked at the safe n sound ones but they don't have much of a variety.

I'm all for the hiring of them. I got mine through the Queensland Ambulance and was thoroughly impressed. They assured me that they are tested and sanitised after each use, I even had to fill out a questionaire thing to mention any accidents (even minor fender benders). I was hesitant as well about hiring but was told over the phone that if I was not happy when they were fitting it that I could say no and get a refund or a new appointment for a different one.
Other than that, if you are intent on buying one then just the plain one without bells and whistles would be fine. Just make sure that it isn't too heavy to start off with, going to be heavy enough with bubs inside.

    Good luck with finding one...

We will be buying the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio system. They will be available in about a week as they are brand new to Australia.

They are $449 from Babies Galore and are compatible with several prams (such as the Bugaboo) as well which means you just have to click the seat into the frame without disturbing your baby. They come in a range of colours and are suitable for weights up to 9kg.
