Not too sure what shops you have in Perth, but at one of the local baby shops thy have dressy stuff there, or have you tried the big department stores like Myer or David Jones? The ones in the CBD should have some stuff like that. Good luck with it! Im sure he will look adorable!!

My gosh, if you go to a dept store you will be paying top dollar.

HAve you seen those 'cheap' asian shops?? - they stock Dora, and spiderman etc clothing, often have asian made toys too..... - its really cheap coz often its not authentic. They sometimes (up the back) have beautiful formal gear for little ones......when my niece had her christening, my sister bought the most beautiful white dress (she was 5 at the time) and it cost her like $20 !!!

I saw heaps at Myer when I was looking for something for DD for her Dedication. Also, Ebay often has heaps.

Cool thanks ladies, haven't looked in DJ's or Myer yet, might do that though and also checkout those little asian stores you mentioned mbear.
MG - had a hunt on ebay but the problem is I can't find anything in DS's size.

Even if you manage to find something on Ebay, try and price it in the department stores so you know how much to pay. We bought DD's dress for less than $30 (RRP about $60) in Myer and the exact same dress sold for $50 on Ebay. Granted we bought it during a sale but still!

The other alternative if you can't find what you want is to get someone to make it for you (if you know anyone who can sew!).
