Smile Baby knee pads, do you think there worth buying???????

    Hello everyone :0)

I have been looking at purchasing those baby knee pads for my little dd as she has just started crawling and noticed her her little knees are getting red. Do you think they are worth buying or are they just a waste of money? My DH thinks they may be a waste to buy as he thinks she will start walking soon and not need them for long. I personally think it might be a while till shes walking and off her knees as she has just started crawling, but I've been wrong before

Thanks for reading and let me know what you personally think, I've already bought so many things for her that have been a waste of money lol

Personally I think they are a waste of money, babies have been crawling for such a long time without needing knee pads. If you thing her knees are getting sore though then they might be worth getting. My ds's knees were always red after crawling around but he never seemed bothered.

Their knees were made for crawling (hence no knee caps) so personally I think they are a waste of time.

We have a concrete floor and floorboards and DD has coped fine so yep, I wouldn't bother. Personally, I'd be more interested in a crash helmet though we've only had very minor bumps on the concrete floor. Babies are pretty clever!

Yep I agree, I think that they would be a waste of money. Plus the skin on their knees toughens up I imagine. I didn't even know they sold them!

I reckon they would be more annoying because you would be picking her up all the time, she would be sitting up etc, if anything, I would think that they would get in the way!

I think they are a waste of money. DS knees get red but don't seem to bother him. I think if I put knee pads on him they would bother him more then the red knees.

get some very cute "babylegs" instead - leg warmers for babies, that keep their legs warm and stop the scratches but still let them toughen up Plus they are WAY, WAY cute - you could have a ladybug on the move!
