    Baby needs a hat....any ideas?

    Hi,

We will be taking Charlie on his first trip to the beach in a couple weeks & I really need to get him a hat. Problem is I can't find one I like, when I do find some good hats they are all for girls!!! I even emailed one of the shops & said "don't little boys need hats too" LOL. I have to buy online as I can't get to shops up here, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I'm a little fussy, I want a bucket hat & a cool or bright design....nothing with teddybears or that type of thing. Any suggestions??

ebay? I just searched under childrens sun hat, or you could search for beach hats....

also you could google baby shop bright bot hat and there are a few that come up. How old is Charlie? The bright bots hats are fantastic, but they are for around 1 yr olds.... have a look. Good luck!

I have the same hat, but it's blue and grey Squishee! But Danni's lil man Mason has the green one I think it's great, it's stretchy too so will grow with them a little at least, and it's only a few dollars anyways!
Oh and they are bonds in brand.

put elastic on them so it goes under his chin ... then tuck the elastic behind his ears , he wont be able to pull it off ( as easy ) i do this with nix all the time ... he tries to pull it off ... after a few goes of it not coming off he leaves it there !!

the cancer council used to have nice blue bucket hats with fish trim, there are 2 sizes too and I think they have a chin strap, they may still have them, or something similar. they are usually pretty good at haveing things for boys (I know how hard it is!!)

The Shop link from the Cancer Council australia site will get you to choose a state. they seem to have a core range of things but each state also has some different stuff, and they ship nationally, so hopefully there will be somthing you like!

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

Christy, thanks. Just found a great bright bots hat...it's denim, very cute. I'm the queen of online shopping, why didn't I think of them first LOL.

I think I know the bonds one's you mean, but I don't think I can buy online at BigW or Target unless it's in the catalogue.

I think I need a couple, it's already 34 up here....ouch!! Can't wait to take Charlie to the beach, it's a 7hr drive so it will be his first & last trip for a while.

I got one from pumpkin patch too, only $11 though. reversible too. I saw thomas the tank bucket hats advertised I think at Target this week.
I like the sound of the bonds one for $6 though.
