For some reason, it never crossed my mind to take DS in the shower until one day, when DS was about 4 months old, a girl from Mothers' Group was talking about her DS having showers. She said they had showered with him pretty much from birth. That night I went home and put DS in the shower with DP and we've never looked back.

DD as a newborn did a very nasty #3 it just got EVERYWHERE! so was easier to just climb in the shower with her and wash her down, well DP did it and she loved it so he did it quite a lot. I tried when she was a few months old and she screamed the whole time.

From birth here too. A word of warning though- be prepared to never, ever have a shower by yourself again. I swear my older girls have some sort of in built radar that tells them the SECOND I turn the shower tap on, and then they're there in a flash asking to come in with me!

LuluHB - That's what is starting to happen in our house now too. DS started crying this morning because he heard the shower turn on but no-one made a move to take his clothes off.
