    That's what I thought and why I stopped wrapping....

    Melissa, if she's rolling whilst wrapped I'd definitely work on getting her out the wrap ASAP, but that's just me. To answer your question, my DD didn't seen to wake herself with her arms around 7-8 months when we let them 'out'.

    No, the sids recommendation is exactly that. Stopping once they can roll. My DD1 was not a roller in her sleep. She could also turn her head easily if she did and I watched her a few times flip herself back. She never stayed fully wrapped for long, it was more the going to sleep bit, and then she'd get her arms loose herself.
    She was never a flailer either.
