We have been with the boys 3 times. The first time DS2 was just under 2. I never take any food for the boys - other than we all had sandwiches etc on the plane. The food there is fine to eat if you eat at places where plenty of other westerners are eating. If you let me know what part of Bali you will be in I might be able to help with suggestions. My boys eat pretty well so would have quite a few things from the menu, but if your DS is not so good with rice, noodles, spicy things etc then you can stick to places with chicken nuggets and chips, fish and chips etc kids' meals - and there are plenty of those places around.

I am sure you will have a great time. We always do and the boys have never been sick.

we went when DS was 18 months old and will be going again before bubs arrives this year.

we took a portable stroller but the are very hard to push in certain areas and streets. It ended up easier sometimes carrying him and we got around on a motorbike ( the three of us) like the Balinese so that was easy

the have long life milk at all Circle K's and they are open 24 hours lol
Also the milk will only set you back 24,000 Rp approximately, if you can go to Matarhari Supermarket it's cheaper too and you can buy in bulk and put it in your room fridge....

Any q's PM me if you have a specific location I can help with places to eat, things to do etc. we have been every year and Hubby has been 28 times so far.......

    Hi
We were in Bali in september with my 2 year old and I was 6 months pregnant. We took some snacks like tiny teddies and dried fruit but didnt really need it. As others have said there is lots of western food available if your kids wont eat anything else. I was careful what I ate just making sure it was super fresh! We stayed in Nusa Dua and none of us got sick.
    Have fun!!
