The big boy bed!

I'm wondering...how do I make the final decision to take the sides off the cot??

Ours is a cot/toddler bed. I'm trying to decide if I should take the sides off or not...He's only just started sleeping through. Not sure if that'll stop or not though?

Both the girls were in a bed by 13 & 14 months. I think I'm trying to keep him a baby as long as possible, but at the same time, til now I didn't think he was ready...

How old is/was your baby when you took the sides off? Converted? a few in my buddies group have, or are in the process of doing it.

DH is away working for at least 2 weeks...wondering if I should do it now, or wait til he gets back & let him do the whole sides off thing, lol. It is one of those daddy things iykwim...

But boredom will have me doing heaps over the next 2 weeks, so while I'm going maybe I should do it??

Why don't you start getting him ready for it, and then get DH to take the sides off? So start talking up how awesome it is to sleep in a big bed, and how amazing and grown up the girls are etc. I think you've got a good opportunity to prepare him for it.

Good luck with it. Can you call your DH and ask him if he would prefer you to wait until he's home?

DD is (hopefully) moving into a big bed this weekend when we move house.
