    Blankie or No Blankie

I am taking a poll. My daughter is 6 months old and I want her to sleep with a blankie because she loves the one my mother made for her. Yet, they say there is still a little risk of sids after 6 months old.

    So.. blankie or no blankie

If it was me I would go with no blanket. IMO it's just not worth the risk.

Well DS has only just started getting really cosy with a blankie, which is just a simple cotton muslin wrap he had near him one day. I watched him grab it and put himself to sleep with it, so we've just kept it. Its really comforting for him, and its a definite sleepy time cue. Which is always helpful!!!!!!!!

    I say blankie too!

DD2 has had a blankie since around 6 months. She really can't live without it! She sleeps with it, if she's cranky she'll cuddle it. It goes everywhere she goes, and it's very cute too.
