We are crawling and pulling up onto things, so there has been many fall overs and bumps on the head..
we do not have carpet only floorboards- how many bumps on the head and falling and hitting the head can a 8 month old handle ,im all mummy worried![]()

My Moo was just one big bruise when he started pulling up on things! We have a tile floor and he used to fall straight back and hit his head right on the tile, ouch! He is still a clumsy kid and always has at least one bruise on his forehead
Kids are surprisingly resilient. Even though it makes us cringe they seem to bounce back very easily. Not easy to watch though!
I have a miss Moo
It's awful to watch,i always make sure i keep an eye on her after it for a while to see if anything happens , and chec for bumps etc,I know kids will always fall and hit themselves but it doesn't make it any easier
I just feel like she has hit her head so many times already this week, but everytime she cries a lot but is ok afterwards(touch wood)
Wish i had a padded cell LOL
Double post
Oh I know, you just want to wrap them up in cotton wool forever! If it's a big knock on the head I usually check his pupils, make sure there is no liquid coming out his nose or ears, he's not drowsy or dizzy (hard to tell last one though if they're always tripping over their feet like mine!). The worst Moo ever did was crack his forehead on the corner of a glass coffee table, almost got his temple!
LOL Miss Moo & Mr Moo! How funny!
I dont remember a time that my kids have not had bruises since they started moving!
little kids are so much more resilient than we give them credit for.. just wait a few more years and you will have tree climbing and bike rididng to add to the list of things that cause you worry!!
