Warning... this is a poo post so might be for some...

I can't remember the last time DD (21 mths) had a normal, solid stool.

Every poo is a horrid, squishy mess. I have to peel the liner out of the nappy and there's always some left on the nappy - the liner never catches it all. Its is runny, icky consistency that is light brown in colour. They frequently leak out of the nappy into the cover and sometimes out of the cover and into her clothes. They stink, really bad.

She'll have two of these every day. Sometimes more. We've already had two today and I'd expect one more this afternoon some time.

She has a nasty nappy rash on the top of her thighs, around where the cover sits on her legs, like where the poo has leaked out.

This can't be normal.

Could it be diet? She basically eats what I eat - toast for brekkie, fruit for morning tea, sandwich or leftovers for lunch, some sort of snack for afternoon tea (might be more fruit, or some cheese and biccies, or yoghurt), then whatever we have for dinner. If we have meat and veg she'll always eat more of the veg than the mean... is that too much fruit and veg?

ETA - just remembered she tells me her tummy hurts sometimes and this morning she got quite distressed when she was obviously doing a poo... she told me "Poo in there" pointing at her nappy and then started crying and saying "Ow mumma ow" like something hurt. Don't know if its the nappy rash that is burning (but her actual bottom isn't too bad, its the legs that are bad...) or the actual bowel movement hurting her...
