Why not make it the size of a regluar (medium sized) dining table...then it can be mulitpurpose. Its can function between an art/craft table, play table or an eating table when kiddy visitors pop over

PS Harper and Chevy are VERY jealous!!

Great idea oh clever one! I'm thinking we might make it long and thinner rather than shorter and wider, I think it will fit into our play room a bit better? I have given in and am going to set up the all around chuggington pack tonight to give us an idea on size, I think it's pretty large and then with all the other stations I think it's going to be huge! If it's going to be too big he might just have to keep some of the stations under the table (on a shelf that dh will make) and then he can change it when he wants different stuff to play with. We already have 2 tables which he could use for when other kids are over so I think this one will just be for the train set really. PS your dd doesn't need to jealous, what is ds's is your dd's... Isn't that the way marriage works?!? rofl

A two-storey train station, crikey!! Now they are jealous!! Totally better idea-making it yourself to fit your own home is a grand idea, go little Chuggers *TOOT TOOT*
