dont know how true this is but my momma always said never kiss babies or suck on dummies if you have one as you could make a baby blind as i said i dont know how true this is. Be clean and don't kiss baby till ALL gone. You have been given some great advice already

Inertita - thanks for the info on Lysine. Thats def an avenue I had not considered before. I'd been treating the cold sore with tea tree oil and that has stopped a blister from forming, just a scab is there. Fingers crossed it'll be gone in a few days.
