Unhappy Cold + temp + frequent green stringy runny poos + lots of drool = ???

Jack has had a really bad cold and has been unsettled since Wednesday afternoon - we've been to the hospital about it as we couldn't get in to see a freakin' doctor for days. They said to just manage it with paracetamol which has worked well. He's been feeding all day and catnapping alot although had a very good night last night - slept through as he usually does. This morning the frequent runny green stringy poos are happening - could it be something gastric? Any ideas? All of that plus lots of drooling, could he be teething too? I can't see any teeth trying to come through.

If he is swallowing mucous, that could be the cause of the stringy poo. HTH

Poor little guy hope he's feeling better really soon.

Liam started drooling heaps at around the 4 month mark, but didn't get teeth until 8 months. I think that the drooling can just be another development stage they go through, although drooling can be another sign of teething. You'd have to be a bit unlucky to hit teething this early though. We used heaps of bibs each day, cos he would just get drenched otherwise.

Hope your little man gets better soon.

Thanks...he finally was back to his old happy self on Saturday after a 5 hour sleep. We ended up taking him to the hospital on Saturday morning because I was concerned it could've been pneumonia. But no...just a virus. Now I've got it!!
