Jols, can you pop her in her room/cot/whatever with a book or fave toy? Riv goes in most days, even just with the safety gate done up and his actual door open, with some toys (even if they're noisy), just for some down time. If the door's open so I can monitor him occasionally, I'll even pop a snack in there with him.
If he's tired, he'll sleep, if he's not tired, then at least him and I get a moment of time-out each.
Put some music on? Music I think makes Riv feel less compelled to make his own, and even if he is making noise, it's only in the background, because I'm listening to my music.
