do you mean 40 mins for the whole day or just for a cycle?

My little man doesnt do feed/play/sleep either - tried, but same as you, with others running around - but I am lucky he is very easy by comparison

Yes, he has just found his hands at 3 months so doesn't mean hungry, just keen to find out what they do and taste like.

Is he wrapped?? That would be my suggestion for the hands bit.

Also, I would try and use 1hr15mins as a guide for a awake time and wrap him then, even if you have to cuddle for 10 mins - nice for you and him - cos sounds like he is getting very overtired. Even if that timeframe is a bit early, you will start to see him relax more into it rather than fighting it cos the window of opportunity has gone with first tired signs.
