That must be very worrying. For most babies, 5 or more heavily wet disposables is the best sign of enough milk. In the early days poos tell us more than wees, but after 8 - 12 weeks this isn't always helpful as it can be fine for bfed babies to go up to 10 days without a poo. In your case though, pooing 2 -3 times most days, is a great sign, and certainly these count as wees too. The more poos the less wees also. If there are that many soft or runny poos, your baby is contented with good skin tone (does it bounce back when pinched?) and he is putting on some weight over a 3 - 4 week period (remember that weight gains will usually be lower after about 3 months so the gains don't have to be as big as they were), then it sounds like he is getting enough milk. A visit to a medical practitioner - MCHN or GP perhaps - never hurts to give you some peace of mind if you are worried. What does your instinct tell you?
