Can I just hijack this thread for a second and ask...

is there any need for a 'toddler' bed?
Or is it just as easy to go straight from cot to single bed?

The cot DD is in now converts to a toddler bed, but we also have a single bed too.
The cot we have converts into a toddler bed, but we've never used it like that. I don't like toddler beds, don't see the point in them. I think it's much easier to transition from a cot to a bed, instead of a cot, to a toddler bed, then to a big bed.
