    Cot invader - heeeeellllp!!

Okay. We have 3 bedrooms in the house.
We are in one, Si was in the other, Riv was in the 3rd. Riv can open the window and climb on the roof of the 3rd (despite us trying to lock the window and the room looking like a prison cell, he climbed the curtains).
So he's in the 2nd room with Si. 3rd room now 'storage' aka 'junk' room preparing for when we move.

With me? The boys are sharing a room, Riv in a bed, Si in a cot. THIS is the problem: usually in the morning (sometimes at night), Riv hoists himself up from the floor into Si's cot (it looks near impossible, but you know how determined toddlers can be). And jumps in the cot and pushes Si over and wrestles with him and we found BITE marks on Si the other day! Tiny little guilty-River sized marks.

So what do I dooooo? Can anyone think of how I can stop him climbing in?

I was going to say the same thing - keep Riv in that room and move Si into the other (the one Riv escapes from).

I could, but the cot is a PAIN to move (have to pull it apart to get it through the doors), and I have half the back room as storage and half as washing space with the clotheshorses...I really hate clotheshorses in the main part of the house (they wouldn't fit anywhere anyway, our house is tiny, and the boys pull things off the clotheshorse if they can see it).

And Si can't go in our room because whenever we share a room with him, and you make even a tiny noise, he squeals and giggles and cries because he wants to hang out. And if we co-sleep, he waits til we're settled and then gets up and tries to crawl off the bed. Riv was a dream to sleep with, Si just wants to play, but will sleep all night in his own cot...

Argh...if we were moved now, I could just move the boys into separate rooms, but I do like the idea of them sharing...maybe I can just try to teach Si to fight back?
