I ended up having to sleep in her bed as she was so restless last light but she seems fine now just a small cough now. But im very tired as she tossed and turned all night
Good to hear her cough has settled... but would prob still take a trip to the doctor just incase.. these things seem to flare up of a evening.
Hope shes better soon.
A better solution than double dosing on panadol at home (Something I would also never advocate and your GP should get the wagging finger my boss loves to use!) is panadol and neurofen combined. They are SAFE to give together and will provide a longer and lasting pain relief if given at the same time. Just make sure you follow the instructions on the packet.
Fever can be caused by pain so if you can eliminate or reduce pain, you should reduce the fever.
Don't be afraid to try more conservative methods for fever control; cool flannel to forehead, back of neck, back of knees, groin. Stripping down to nappy/undies.
Ali - I'm glad she feels better this morning. Hope that she continues to improve.
