    7 month old hitting herself?

I've never seen a baby really do this before. Is it normal? Annika has been hitting herself a lot these past few days mainly on her belly or legs, and I'm getting a touch worried. Nervous first time mum, hehe.

hhhmmm, i know that Josh at that age would sometimes hit the side of his face on his cheeks but i related that to teething. This one is a tricky one, is she frustrated as she cannot express her thoughts through speech? this is one thing i could think of>????? I am sure there is a simple explaination for it!

Jesse doesnt hit himself, but he pulls at his skin. When he's naked before and after a bath, he'll pull at his tummy or thigh skin.. looks like it would hurt and leaves red marks sometimes.. quite bizarre i know.. no idea why he does it.. im guessing its him just realising that he has a belly and thighs and can feel it when he pulls the skin IYKWIM? Like realising their sensors.

If youre worried, ask your CHN.. but im not personally too worried. If she was hitting her head i might worry then.

DS bashes himself repeatedly in the 'nads while he's in the bath
He laughs his head off while he does it.
It's normal they're just working out that they have control over their limbs - I've seen lots of babies do it don't worry
