    But i must admit, its very useful to use it as a bribe. When she goes to childcare, the only way she doesnt cry is if i promise her some chocolate afterwards.

    Maybe im causing this addiction?

    xp did this with DD too, used it for bribes and she went totally nuts for it at one stage. I just banned it from the house totally and she got used to it ok.

    I still had my stash in my bottom draw though...

    I think removal from the house is the best bet! I have done that with my girls when one of them had a sugar addiction time... I removed all temptations from the house. It made my life easier, and she soon learned that it wasn't something to demand. Actually for an autistic kid with an obsession... 6 months of screaming wasn't a long time to get used too. We allow some sugar now, but its definately something that is monitored and we don't keep in the house.
