    I agree with pp. She sounds delightful and like she has been putting energy into other areas of development. They can't do everything at once. I have also been told by CFHN that they don't 'worry' until the child is at least 18 months old and not walking but there would still be a small percentage of kids who don't walk by 18 months but are still 'normal' and get there in their own time. DS took a while to get moving too and I had my CFHN talking about seeing a physio but I actually think she was being over cautious etc.

    I think if you're worried (even if only a little) then definitely take her to see someone. You'll have another bub in the house soon and it might be worthwhile getting an opinion or two now before life gets (more) crazy again. It might be just a case of getting some ideas of different games to play with her to help her with her gross motor development.

    DD3 didn't start walking until she was 24mths.

    my DD2 is 12months and not crawling and walking or cruising the funiture and not looking like she is interested at all
    I try not to worry but its hard so
    its nice and reasuring to hear of others that have had late bloomers aswell
