Two cat naps in a row?? I didn't think that they did that. E.g. 1 cap nap and then into big sleep cycle?

She did it again tonight but what made it worse was we had guests. I had to wake her at 5pm as she was still asleep so she woke, had a little play, had a bath, had a bottle, played a little more and then about 6.15pm she started to grizzle and show tired signs, so I wrapped her up and put her in bed. Same thing happened. I tried settling her for over 30 minutes until i gave up as I needed to cook dinner for my guests.

About 7:15pm again she was grizzling and showing tired signs so i tried again, still no joy and out she came again. Once she is out of the bedroom she is happy as larry but is still demonstrating her normal every day tired signs that I use as my queue during the days for her sleeps. 3 times I've tried putting her down tonight and I've tried everything from leaving a light on to putting on her fan but still no good. And it can't be from the smell of cooking as she started with it tonight before I'd even started cooking.

It's now almost 8.45pm and she is finally in bed and asleep..

How on earth do other mum's deal with dinner time and making sure dinner is cooked but getting their bubbas into bed!!! I really have no idea what to try with this but it's making dinner time a real difficult time. Hubby works and is doing 15 hour days some days and I don't want him having to wait till after 8pm to get his dinner and then having to deal with her screaming while I'm trying to get her to sleep. Again tonight I've just given in and bought her out into the loungeroom and is shuts her straight up.

Shouldn't she be tired by this time!!!!!!
