hahaha - doh I was hoping you had some magic remedy! LOL.
So DD was a bit schniffly and schnuffly yesterday. Went to bed at 8pm. Slept for an hour. Between 9pm - 11pm she was basically waking up every 10 minutes. Whenever DP and I went in to her, she wasn't really fully awake she'd just cough but as soon as she heard our soothing voices (if you knew DP you'd realise how ridiculous it is to use "soothing" and "DP's voice" in the same sentence), she'd go straight back to sleep.
By the time we went to bed she was still waking up every 10 minutes so we thought we'd just bring her into our bed. DP brought her in to me and as soon as it was clear that's where we wanted her to sleep she started screaming blue murder and hurled herself off the bed.
Grabbed her fluffy blanky, marched down the hallway, flung her bedroom door open and put her arms up to be put back in her cot.
And we didn't hear a peep from her all night. The prospect of sleeping with us must have just been too horrible and cured her cold instantly!
hahaha - doh I was hoping you had some magic remedy! LOL.
Where do I get one of these children that demands to be be in their own bed???
DS is the same - has NEVER slept in our bed (apart from his first week or so as a nb), he hates it! His sister is 4.5 now and still comes in for morning snuggles when she wakes up.
