Another one here who thinks Baby Borns were a bit of a waste of money in our household, both DD1 and DD2 have preferred the soft bodied dolls (I have a funny feeling they may have been Fisher Price brand).

My DD loves her cabbage patch dolls. One is old school with teh wool hair (that's the favorite and belongs to her sister so is immediately 5000% more desirable) and the other one with nasty synthetic hair but also has the eye lashes. They are pretty much the right size for the few dolly things we have (eg wooden high chair and cradle from the op shop) and also big enough to carry around in a sling/sit up to eat dinner at the table etc.
at the moment DD1s fav doll is a transformer its optimus prime so its not so bad
but really her most dragged around dolls are the cheap ones. Mum got her a baby alive for her birthday and she hasnt touched it in months
