Yep! my DD says shup ut(shut up) mummy when i start singing!!
don't tickle me mummy
dont touch sheepie mummy(her comfort toy)
even to the point of-
Dont cuddle daddy!!!
but then she turns around and wants to dance and says you dance mummy!
lol very normal, such attitudes on them so young, i love it!
lol I get "NO!" And the big shove away...I cant even go in for a kiss anymore
Charlotte will even trick me by offering me something hand it to me and say "Ta" with a big smile on her face, then pull it back at the last second saying "na" and cacking herself laughing...then she will do it again!! lol
we get the whole: No Mama, STOP mama'. usually this is if i go in for a kiss or cuddle LOL! then when i do stop she changes her mind immediately and demands a kiss LOL!
my mum was bathing ds, and she went to wash his bum and he said, no grandma, don't!! cracked us up.
yesterday i asked him if he wanted a baby brother, and he said 'no mum, no thanks'. too cute.
my little guy is still really affectionate, and loves me arsing around, so i don't really get the no mum to those sorts of things, but i'm sure my time will come.
DS tells me (in fact he did this whilst listening to my ipod on my cube) "Can you go away please, I want to sing and dance on my own" he'll get his electric guitar and go for his life to Depeche Mode but heaven forbid I watch, DD can but only because she participates but if I even *try* to participate I get told to rack off LOL!
We get the NO DADDY in our house, poor DH is really getting the short end of the stick.
don't pick me up
don't hold me
No I don't want to sit on your lap
No, daddy NOOOOOOO!!!
And then where does she get in when she wakes up .... on daddy's side
Woohoo it's not just my DD saying this. I'm not allowed to join in anything that DD and DH are doing. If I ignore her "don't" she just stands still and gives me the look until I stop then she starts again. I feel for you AJP. It sucks!!!
Glad we aren't alone. I get 'no mummy no' when I sing. If she is playing in the toy room with dad and I come in I get told to 'go in the lounge' go away'. If she wants to do something I have specifically said no to I also get told to go away (mummy wasnt born yesterday lol) We also have a lot of "me do" and 'I do"
I get "Go. Away!" and "Don't touch it" about his toys or things he wants. Lots of No's as well. Its perfectly normal from what I can tell. They've learnt how to express exactly how they feel at the time and I know that I tell him not to scream in my ear or touch things he isnt allowed to have, so I figure if I respect his wishes within reason, he will understand to respect mine.
