DS needs to burn off his energy! Ideas please :)

DS will be 4 in June and he has so much energy to burn off!
What kinds of sports or activities can i get him involved in?

Swimming, soccer, riding a bike, I think maybe little aths (which I seem to remember bring a fairly cheap option, but not sure)

I dunno about organised stuff, but DS goes outside every night with DH and rides his bike up and down the driveway. He also has a kart which he rides and that uses up HEAPS of energy.

My little guys do swimming twice a week which is not only a good way for them to burn off energy but an important life skill. It only costs me $48 for four lessons (Ds3 is once a week and free because Im staff) which is reasonably priced. I know it ends up being less again for 3 lessons a week. Maybe enquire with your local swim schools?

We're looking at buying bikes for us all soon so we can all go bike riding. Is that something you could do?

Ive been contemplating karate or soccer or something for Ds1 (he is 4.5). I know there are a few lowish cost things for kids to do as far as sports go, do you have a local YMCA? I know they do all sorts of classes for kids!

Do you have a soccer time kids class near you? Ds1 has started lessons this year and absolutely loves them. There is heaps of running around and goal kicking!

I hear you on this one lol My DS does swimming twice a week and he goes to preschool for two days. I'm thinking of dropping a swimming lesson and adding a sport maybe. Other ideas are your local park, riding his bike around the block, visiting nanny and maybe a trampoline (I don't have one but have heard this can be good to burn off energy). Good luck!
