DS puts his arms inside his grobag

    As often as he can.
Has anyone else found this with toddlers who sleep in grobags?

I keep wondering if its becuase his hands are cold? Maybe I should move to blankets/doona? But I am hesitant to do this as he rolls around so much at night. he does sleep without a grobag at creche though, no issues.

ETA: Its definitely the correct size, his feet hit the end of the smaller size.

Yeh i know the 0-6 month ones have a press studd button under the arms to stop them doing that, maybe you might be able to sew one in? a button or something? Just as long as he cant get his head in there once his arms are in too.. would hate for him to get stuck!

What are the temperatures like in his room? Jesse is in a grobag, but also has doona's and blankets on as hes just not warm enough in the grobag.

Only other thing maybe i could suggest if it is his hands getting cold, is maybe trying some of those gloves that have the fingers cut off? Or if you cant find any, buy some gloves and the finger parts off, might stop him pulling them off if he can feel his fingers? That way his hands are still kept warm from them. Just an idea.

    I might try that.
ATM he mostly does it when he is awake, maybe he thinks its funny or a game. I usually manage to get them out before he goes to bed, and haven't found them inside in the morning yet, though he is uaulyy awake, so maybe he takes them out on his own?

Theres no way his head would fit through the neck hole, its so big! No probs there *lol*

K used to do this too, not because his hands were cold but because he likes to put his hands down his pants and um... explore LOL. He often does a poo as soon as he wakes up, so hands down the nappy is not good!! We got sick of going in to find a poo smeared cot so we put a couple of stitches into the armholes to make them a bit smaller so he can't get his arms back through.

Hehe - that sounds cute. I've heard of one girl getting her legs stuck up around her chest inside the grobag, and the parents gave up with the whole sleeping bag idea LOL.

We've had no success with a grobag ourselves.. he fights it like there's no tomorrow. I actually dress him in warm pj's, and a knitted vest, and then put him under the blankets. He usually wiggles his way out of the blankets down to his waist, but with the vest on I know he won't get too cold.
