Question DS still has bow legs at 2 years of age

DS2 was born with bow legs, he was a big bub and obviously didn't have enough room for his legs in my tummy LOL! I was told that they would straighten once he started walking and by the time he was 2. He saw a physio a few months ago who wasn't concerned too much and said to bring him back in January. DH took him back today. DS2 is just over 2 years old now and his legs are still quite bowed. The left leg has straightened a little, but the right leg is still very bowed. We are being sent a referal to see an orthopedic surgeon at the Royal Children's Hospital. It's doubtful that he'll need surgery, but what can they do?

Has anyone else had a child with bow legs that have taken a bit longer to straighten? Has anyone had any experience with further treatment? If so, please come and share!

He looks so cute with his bow legs LOL, he has a very distinct walk. A bit like a cowboy haha! He looks hilarious when he runs too, it really contributes to his cute personality .

Anyway, if anyone has any experience or knowledge I'd love to hear from you
