    Emmaljunga Prams

I am just hafter some feedback from people that have or have used Emmaljunga prams. I am having my 2nd baby in Dec and because I will only have 18 months between the 2 I want a good twin prams thatwill be comfortable for them both.
I am quite picky about prams, I am not keen at all on 3 wheelers (just a personal things) and really like to be able to reverse the handle so the baby can face me, and also so you can move them so the sun isnt shining in their eyes.
The only one i have found so far that fits all of those criteria is the Emmaljunga Twin Cerox, but before I spend out over $1000 I would like to here about other peoples experiences with Emmaljunga prams, either single or twin.

Ali, I have an emm single and I am seriously considering buying a double when Little One comes along.

Emms are great because they are very comfy for baby, have a great shopping basket underneath (a big plus for the double in my books) and are very good on all terrain because of their wide wheel base and thick tyres.

I know Bath is a big fan too and will no doubt post here soon

Just make sure it fits in your car, my sister had one (not sure what type) and had great difficulty getting it in the car.

I have the emmaljunga single cerox, with the reversible handle, and I love it.

It fits in the boot of my corolla seca, but it is big, and I have been verbally abused by mums (I'm not joking) because my pram is too big and gets in their way in parents rooms!

I have seriously considered getting a smaller one for quick trips, or if I know it would be a tight squeeze at the place I was going to.

I have used my single emmaljunga pram for all 4 of my children and absolutely love it. In fact when my 9yo sat in it and broke the chassis 1 month before my newborn was born, i was devastated. Luckily i managed to get a chassis in good condition on ebay for next to nothing and the new bubs can enjoy the luxury of a comfy bassinet to lie in, and i enjoy the ease of pushing it around. I love the big wheels as they go on concrete, grass, dirt and sand, without a hassle - unlike prams with the smaller stroller wheels ( which either get stuck in the dirt or feel like your pushing a shopping trolley)! I've tried a three wheeler before and found it wouldnt go straight wheras the em stays in a straight line without any effort. The suspension is fantastic when walking and also when you just want to rock bubs off to sleep. I would love a twin em so my 2yo and new bub can sit next to each other.I'm looking for a second hand one. From what i hear they are just as good as the singles with 2 seats that go down separately so you can have one sleeping and one sitting up if awake.

I also have a single emm and love it! I also bought the bassinett that you can attach to the pram base and that was great too. The only thing is that it is a big pram which I love and hate about it (can be a nightmare trying to weave thru those crowded cafes!) but over all it's the best thing I ever bought,no regrets also I bought it at baby expo (was abit cheaper that way) and as I was leaving a woman stopped me and said she had one and used it with all 4 of her children and luved it,so that made me feel good after such an expensive purchase!

From memory,I think you can add a toddler seat to the single

I have a similar twin pram, it is a Bertini, and it is awesome. Mine is rather old as I purchased it second hand. If I hadn't been able to find a second hand one I was going to buy the Emmaljunga twin. Be vary careful of doorways, ours only fits through our front door folded, but we mainly use it when we are out or going for a decent walk. Our driveway is 500m gravel and the girls like to go in that pram more than the other crappy shopping trolley ones.

Hi just wanted to add I too have an Emmaljunga Twin Stroller and it has been a godsend! I have it up for sale now though that my kids have outgrown it. Any ideas how to advertise it on this site's classifieds?
