Is everyone's LO's waking earlier? So tired!

Clearly the Sun and my son are in league, both deciding to get up earlier these days! Ugh, I am really missing that extra half an hour of sleep in the morning!

Just wondering if everyone else is in the same boat?

Should I invest in black-out curtains?

Yup. While I considered myself extremely lucky that DD1 used to sleep in until 7:30 and I acknowledge that 6:30 (her new wake-up time) is not as early as some have to rise, she so NEEDS the sleep-in cause she refuses to sleep in the day and she gets SOOOOOO tired come 3/4 o'clock. Bring on DLS!

YES YES YES! I remember this happening last year too, I couldn't wait to switch the clock forward so it seemed like we weren't being woken so early. Don't invest in black-out curtains either, we have them, room is pitch black and it doesn't make one bit of difference - they must just know !

Pfft blackout curtains do diddly squat when the squarking birds are carrying on and waking them up anyway

Mine are waking up at 5am ATM

Another waiting here for DLS, even though it does mean that bedtime will be later as there is no hope in getting her down whilst there is even the slightest bit of sunlight. I am not a morning person, so prefer wake ups to be after 7am.

Is anyone putting their kiddies down to sleep earlier to make up for it?
