    Favorite non-toy plaything

What's your child's favorite non-toy plaything? At the moment DS's is the Sabco swish mop - I've put the handle down so its only half a metre long & keep it next to the fridge. He gets it out every day to sweep the floor. So cute!

In second place is a sippy cup that leaks and a water bottle - the only things he plays with in the bath (he's got about 10 ducks, dolphins etc that get ingnored)

It's a tie here. EIther any pair of my shoes she can find to walk around in (her current fave is my camel coloured 10cm heel ankle boots - they make a great stamp noise on the tiles), or my wallet to pull the cards out and re-arrange, pull the cards out, and re-arrange....you get the idea.

LOL, definately my purse, she is on a constant hunt for food for her "piggy" namely all of the coin in my purse usually the gold stuff is picked first (her piggy has been getting really heavy over the last couple of weeks as she bats her eyes and asks for "piggy food" from anyone with a purse now).

A pink bra that he stole while i was folding the washing. Loves it! DH doesnt know what to think - on one hand it's "Yay, he's a bobbie man" , on the other hand it's "oh god, he likes womens clothing" .

oh blizz - piggy food, how cute

Krystal loves this one particular pair of heels (pointy toe slip ons) (at the same time she HAS to have her handbag, and 2 of our old phones yelling 'hello hello')

the vac & mop - loves to 'keen' the floor

the pegs, she has to hand me every peg while i hang out the washing, and if i try to put them back in the basket.. she will tip it out anyways - this makes hanging the washing out fun when the pegs are all over the yard!

Ha Rach I hear ya on the pegs - it takes forty times as long too. Then there's the retrieving of the pegs as you get stuff off...

Oh yes the pegs - I have to keep re-directing him from dropping them off the verandah. Lots of setting a good example with 'Thank you' every time he hands me a peg too.

A big plastic spoon, it's classic......out of all the presents given at Christmas time all he played with was a spoon. Now that we are at home he cruises around the house with a spoon, I often wonder why I wasted my money on all those toys. He loves to wave it, bang it on the floor, bang it at the wall...very funny.

She absolutely loves shoes at the moment, particularly my pair of leather flat shoes with a buckle. She loves playing with the buckle.

She also loves her pants. When I'm folding up the washing she sits and watches me, then when I come to folding her stuff she waits until I'm folding her pants and she picks them up and crawls off with them and just plays with them, waves them around, sucks on them, laughs at them etc.

Door stoppers here, any she can find. She takes the plastic ones off the back of the doors, the wooden ones my mum has, the plastic ones I brought for the bedrooms...any where she can get her pudgy hands on one!! Mums has a knobby thing on the top of it and she crawls around with it in her mouth like a dummy....very cute and very strange...

toilet paper!!, she loves to have a piece to firstly wipe her bottom(through her clothes) then uses it to do general house cleaning (usually toilet floor eeegghhh) then puts it in the toilet waving and saying "bye-bye" and waving to it until it dissappears out of sight!!!

oh yeh, since we introduced the toilet (we bought a pooty, but she prefers the kiddy deat on the loo) she goes through the whole process.. pulling as much paper off the roll as she can, then 'wipe bum bum' through her clothes! then 'drop paper' close the lid and 'fush'

    cute

This is an awesome thread! Hehe there are just so many things he gets to!

The main faves are definitely kitchen utensils (wooden spoons, tongs and cutlery). Also one terrible habit he has is removing the bin plastic things that go around it (if you know which ones I mean?) and putting them over his head! eeww!

Oh yep and definitely the washing basket and LOVES my purse too! ahh it's so frustrating seeing your cards everywhere on the floor :|
