oh hun, you should have seen me this week when I tipped DD out of the pram head first into the paving when I was chasing the dog. Rushed her to the doctors with a big egg on her head & was given an info sheet on monitoring my child for "head injuries" including waking her up every 4 hours overnight - I did it every 2!

You, sweetness, just got unlucky, you didn't mean to hurt her and she really will forgive you.

lots of hugs though, its a terrible feeling, just take a deep breath and let it wash away that guilt as a useless emotion to carry.

Thanks girls! I know accidents happen and all of that, but you just can't help the guilt! (There's so much guilt involved in being a mum!) Anyway, I don't feel so bad today and DD is fine - I thought sh'ed have a fat lip, but luckily not.

    Thanks again!
