Im hoping it's a phase too. Since I was heavily pg with no2, DD has seriously favoured being with her Dad. Initially I think it's cause he's so much fun (Im the one who has to be practical!) but also the fact that he was home for 6 weeks post DS' birth, and so looked after her every need, cause I was busy with the baby.I'm pretty much like chopped liver when DP is around. Everything has to be done by Daddy, and I do mean everything! She'd good as gold with me when he's at work etc, but as soon as he's around...whole different story. Sometimes it really upsets me, but for the most part I know it's fairly temporary, and it means I get a bit of a break.
Try not to take it personally,I think it just means she's secure in her relationship with you, and knows you'll always be there when she needs you.
