I am looking to buy the Fisher Price Rainforest Peek-a-boo leaves musical Mobile.

As we live in a rural area i have to order online without seeing or testing it out and was wondering if anyone has it in their nursery and what they think of it?

I have read a few online reviews that say it turns too slowly and the music is too soft...

Wondering what others thought of it and if it helped their little ones settle to sleep in their cots?

Caro - yes i have seen it on the demo! (very cool).

Shame i cant sample it in person... so hopefully someone has it and can comment for me!

I've purchased the other Rainforest mobile (rainforest dreams - it has soft toys and a light show attachment). Although it has yet to be uesd on a baby yet...I've given it a test run...the volume control has 2 settings so it can either be very soft or a little louder and the music has 3-4 lullabys and also a 'rainforest noise' setting. I think it's really cute and haven't regretted the $$$ on it. I love the rainforest range! (also bought the play gym!)

No, the loudness of the music on the 2nd level was sufficient if you wanted to entertain baby while changing their nappy etc....I would put it on the 1st level if she was drifting off to sleep. The movements of the mobile...well I guess they're standard...you don't want it moving too fast...it moves at a steady and gentle pace
