We bought all of Autumn's furniture in plain white and she has one pink feature wall. At the moment, I accessorize in pinks and purples and I also did the painting on canvas thing for her first painting in pinks and purples. Then it's easy to update with different accessories and colours as they grow. Lamps, bedding, cushion covers, paintings, wooden decals, things hanging on fishing line or mobiles, the washing basket liner, storage boxes etc., - can all be changed easily. The hardest is the feature wall, but even that is just one wall and can be updated when she's old enough to want a change and choose a new colour. Decorating is so much fun - I'm getting all excited just thinking about it! LOL
