Gripe water (the non alcoholic one) was my bub's "magic potion" for about six months. Until we discovered this by accident, she was unhappy. But it went everywhere with us, one dose of that, stomach would gurgle gurgle 3mins later, she would fill her nappy and be all smiles (of relief). She was breastfed too.

luckily gripe water is not expensive to try (under $10 at woollies)

(Note: the first gripe water brand we tried, at the chemist, was one per cent alcohol, and my bub HATED the taste).

no expert or medical person told me to use it, just another parent i bumped into at the chemist. i don't really care who told me, as long as it worked, and it did.

it may not work in all situations, but if your bub is unhappy, worth a try (in the absence of anythign else working).

have you taken her to a naturopath (you mentioned natural solutions). I'm sure they would look at her and your dietary intake.

Not an expert here but I think I remember something about foamy poos and dairy intolerance?? Might be worth reducing or eliminating dairy from your diet for a few weeks and see if it makes any difference. Apparently it takes a little while for the dairy protein to make it's way out of your milk so you have to try for a couple of weeks to see if there is any difference.
