Question Have you been to an Osteopath for bubs?

I've been trying to find some other threads about osteopaths but haven't come up with much.... just wondering if anyone has taken their babies to see an osteopath and what the result was? Having extreme sleep difficulties and am now thinking I will try an osteopath..... can't hurt to get her checked out...

I am desperately seeking a recommendation for an osteopath who SPECIALISES in infants in melbourne or surrounding areas.... Does anyone know of one??

Would love to hear any osteo experience stories, particularly any that involve a great improvement in sleep....

We have been to an osteo 3 times for Hamish due to his persistant ear problems. She checked him pretty well and said there was a little cranial rotation, but nothing that should cause all his problems.
Unfortunately I think they really wont do anything for a non-sleeping bub unless there is something majorly out.
We are in Geelong, and I dont rate this osteo that much to refer you to her. She's good, but not amazing. And my osteo doesn't do babies!

Took Maggie to an Osteo when we found that she was not turning her head properly and it was causing feeding problems. It did help a lot, plus she also worked on Maggie's reflux. I do believe it helped a bit for the reflux and a lot for the neck pain.

Sorry cannot remember her name, but she was at Essendon Osteopathic Health Care on Keilor Road. There were 2 ladies, one was on maternity leave when I went and the one I saw was new. Try your MCHN they should have a list of local Osteos, I got the details from mine.

I took Milo to a cranial Osteopath in Brunswick who was excellent. We went for feeding issues and head turning to one side a lot.
We saw Anita Biddle there but were actually recommended Kirsten Chadwick (but she was booked solid for 2+ months) Anita was fabulous. I got her details from my naturopath.
I think Anita works in the city, not sure if she is still at brunswick, and I can't remember the clinic name but it was on De Carle St

I was recommended to a Paediatric Osteopath who works in Glen Iris *I think*. If you would like the details let me know. She's meant to be fantastic, and she only works with children!
