Question growth spurt in 2.5yr old

anyone else have 2-3yrs old that seemed to go through a noticable growth spurt??
DD 2.5 seems to be sleeping later (no complaints there ) eating more, finally puting on weight and complaining around midday of been tired (very unlike her) she hasnt had a day sleep all year. were not sure if its just because she can verbalise better that she is tired, she wont have a day sleep but has quiet time.
im concerned she is low in something, maybe iron, but she does eat a balanced diet.
she also goes to bed at 6.30pm and up around 6.30am/7am. probably nothing

Ummm, the older three went through that too, with the extra eating sleeping, but they were a bit older - about 3-ish they were from memory. I actually put it down to the weather, because lately they are all eating me out of house and home with the onset of the cooler weather, and they seem to do it every year LOL. but it's not unreasonable for her to be having a growth spurt. If you do think she's not 100% though, just keep an eye on it.

I even had to buy Paige new knickers cause she'd finally grew out of the ones she had LOL. She's a real skinny minny so the extra weight sure didn't go astray.

Funny you posted this - I was only just thinking today that DD1 is eating alot more! And yesterday she said she was tired and had a lay down on the couch (for a few minutes!) - and like your DD, she doesn't have a day sleep anymore! She is out like a light at 6:30pm and will sleep till about 6:30am
Must be a 2.5yr old thing!
