Well you already know my thoughts

As soon as you put the close carrier on you'll know Definately by far the best! Try one on when you go to pick up your nappies! Damn, I wish you & S had both tried mine on when I was there!

I have both. If you're going to buy one, I'd say buy the CC, and make up your own HaB style wrap carrier, and you'll get one each!

I'm not a fan of using the ergo for newborns, I really think ergos are an awesome carrier, but from about 3-4 months up

I prefer the Close Carrier because its already half tied for me. The HaB (while I've never tried it) I have tried other wraps and I was too worried bubs would fall out while I'm stuffing around getting the right folds and knots and stuff, far too stressful for me.. LOL

So I would say Close Carrier

I had a HAB for DS and loved it, I bought a CC for DD as I liked that it was similar but with no tying lol. I absolutely love my CC. I also have an Ergo but something didnt look right to me with the newborn insert.

The Ergo's have new infant inserts, different design now, so they actually create a pouch for bubs, which I think personally are much better and worth a look at, they are not expensive.

I used a CC for Charlotte, but she was too big for it by the time they came out, but it was very easy to use, and I have a couple here now for this bubs.
I never used a wrap, but can see how the CC will be much simpler to use, found a really cheap HAB on EBay so have one of those now, and will see how we go...maybe I'll practice with a teddy

Anyway, check out ebay, you may be able to get one cheap and get one of each.

I practice with a bag of polenta, the weightand floppiness is more real than any of our teddies. Once I put a hat on it too, and DH was totally spooked by it, reckoned I could have walked it down the street and noone would have known.
